Episode 28: Self Soothing

Welcome back to another episode of the RelatAble Podcast. I am excited to have you join me today.

Today we are discussing a topic where I recently had a breakthrough and wanted to share my thoughts with you. We’ve all had those moments where we wish we could do things for ourselves a certain way without seeking outside help. Things such as your makeup, your hair or prepare your favorite steak recipe. These examples all represent the desire to be empowered and do things ourselves.

On today’s episode, we’ll take that concept a little further and look at empowerment in marriage by discussing self-soothing. It’s where you’re taking care of your own emotional needs so that you feel better on your own without your husband having to change. I share 3 super important reasons why this is one of the best gifts you can give YOURself!!
