Prayers for Your Marriage Copy

You knew marriage would be work. But you never expected it to be this hard. Loving your husband right now seems like more work than you are willing to put in.

You are so disappointed by everything that’s going wrong.

The image you had of your life together has been destroyed by unmet expectations, heartbreak and conflict.

When you look at him or think of him, all you see is the ways he let you down and just isn’t the man you want anymore.

You’ve been praying for your marriage, hoping so badly that things would turn around.

And right now it seems like nothing is changing.

He’s no different, and your heart is hardening towards him.

You’re more impatient, irritable, and resentful.

You’re losing faith that things will ever be different.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.

The unraveling of my own marriage was something that devastated me to my core. We were once so happy and everyone saw us as the “perfect” couple.

Then the stress of raising a family, pursuing our careers and fundamental differences between us began to wreak havoc on what was once a very strong foundation of love.

Soon, my mind was filled with negative thoughts about my husband and I began to stew in resentment. I was so unhappy and thought I would never survive if things didn’t change.

Praying for My Marriage?

Let me be honest here. I knew I should be praying for my marriage. You know that too.

But many, many times, I just didn’t want to, or if I did it was not as sincere as it should have been.

Maybe you can relate?

Being angry and being in the “right” felt better than going to God for any correction or pointing out of what I needed to be doing differently myself.

Slowly God worked on that area of my thinking and give me a desire to pray for my marriage in the way I truly needed to, which created a major shift within myself.

It was in my own transformation that I began to experience my relationship with my husband in a completely different way.

As I opened myself up to truly hear from the Holy Spirit I began to see my role in our problems differently. I began to equip myself with new ways of thinking, new ways of responding, and new ways of being that dramatically shifted the way my husband then responded to me.

I began to focus on my own sense of happiness and began to intentionally live out my life as a wife who believed she was loved and cherished by her husband. And now I can truly say that how I feel about my marriage has turned around. I’m incredibly happy, and know how to access that happiness even when things are not going the way I would like.

I want my experience to reveal to you that in order to see God move in your marriage in a new way, you have to think in new ways and pray in new ways.

I know right now with your broken heart, that is really hard to do.

That’s why I created a 5-Day Prayer Challenge.

Let my words speak for you.

Sometimes we pray for our marriage, but nothing happens because we focus too much on waiting for God to move without ever putting in the work ourselves. We don’t open ourselves up to thinking differently, and responding differently.

The result? We get more of the same.

I want to help you get something different.

As a transformational life coach, I help women who are exactly where you are now, and where I once was, to radically change their marriage from the inside out.

If you want to get to that place, and would like to receive strategic and specific prayers to guide you to opening yourself up to real transformation, sign up to receive my 5 -Day Marriage Prayer Challenge.

Each day you’ll receive a new prayer recording to stretch you, challenge you, and nudge you to grow in mindset, attitude and behavior so that you open the right doors for God to work in your marriage.

These are the very prayers I often pray for myself, and I can attest to the move of God within my own heart and mind. I’d love to have you experience the same.

I know that you found this post for a reason. That there’s something God wants to show you. One of the ways he speaks to us is through our prayer time with Him. And not just those little cute, quick 2-minute prayers we recite as we’re already half asleep in bed.

Maybe you need to go deeper into prayer for yourself.

Maybe your mind first needs to be renewed before you ever see any change in your marriage.

Maybe you just need a new perspective on what it will take to restore you marriage to a stronger and happier place.

I believe this prayer challenge will offer you that. Sign up to join in now.
